The Chinese Year - Six Concerts + 2 at Hamsey

Tickets £8, £6 (concession) (Children free) from Academy Music, Lewes and at the door. (Note that Town Hall Tickets cost £10 and £8, with no charge for accompanied children.)

Concerts (except Hamsey Festival and 14 July) feature a pre-concert talk by Peter Copley at 7.10pm. Peter discusses the evening's music for about 15-20 minutes.

Saturday 23 September (All Saint's Centre, Friar's Walk, Lewes) 7:45 pm Directed by Wai Sing Fat (from China) As well as pieces listed below, Chinese instruments will be demonstrated.
Hua Yanjun (arr. Wu Zhu Chang)	"The Water Reflecting the Moon in Erquan” This music is based on a 19th century recording of a street musician playing the violin. The original music will be demonstrated on a Chinese violin (Erhu)
